It’s time to Rebuild, Raise up, Repair and Restore!
We hit the ground running in 2024 and haven’t slowed down one bit. Work on the Oak Park campus was already underway by the first of the year and would begin at Kinder by March. By the end of the year, both campuses were up and running at full speed. It would not be an overstatement to call it a miracle. God truly has been with us every step of the way.
However, if we’ve learned anything from the aftermath of Hurricane Laura, it is that the church is not a building or a service. The church is people; people who have faced their own great challenges and come through them stronger. And our church family has come through stronger. It was the year that we saw scores of men set aside their facades, get honest and become the men that God meant for them to be through Fight Club. It was our most engaging year ever in small groups as more people than ever before connected and grew in their relationships with God and each other.
The church is people and we’ve got more people to make space for!
We still have the same mission, a mission to Reach People and Build Lives in Southwest Louisiana. It’s a call to Rebuild families and faith. It’s a call to Raise up hope and homes in our community again. It’s a call to Repair relationships and Restore hearts back to the Father.
