Church of the King will be accepting donations starting today, Tuesday, August 29th, until 6pm at the Disaster Relief Site (305 N. Ryan Street, Lake Charles, LA). Life Christian Academy (1700 Maplewood Dr, Sulphur, LA) will also be accepting donations until 4pm today.

Items needed right now include: 

- toothbrushes, tooth paste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products

- water and non-perishable food items (like jerky, protein bars, etc.) 

- flashlights, batteries, and glow sticks 

- blankets and bedding, pillows, air mattresses

- diapers, baby wipes, and baby food.

- hand sanitizer, first aid kits, and cleaning supplies. 

Clean clothes will also be accepted but new clothes are preferred. You can volunteer or make a monetary donation by selecting the Harvey Relief Effort tab at the top of the page.

Following today, the Life Christian Academy drop site will be open from 9am - 2pm on Wednesday (weather permitting), and from 9am - 2pm on Thursday. You can speak to someone at LCA by calling (337) 370-7425.
