The primary place that people find care and support in our church is through relationships. Those connections typically happen through groups and volunteering. If you’re looking for additional care or support, here are some opportunities for your unique circumstances.
Support Groups
These groups provide a place to share in supporting, non-judgmental environments. Each ministry is led by caring people who desire to help you through the healing process so that spiritual progress and positive life-change is realized.
Overcomers Recovery Support - Our Overcomers group meets weekly on Tuesdays @ 6:30pm here at Church of the King to share the comfort and hope found in Jesus Christ. This group provides support, accountability, and a safe place to share feelings as participants walk together through life's challenges and addictions. For more information contact the church office at (337) 477-8890.
Life After Choice Ministries - We provide a confidential, safe place for women to find healing following an abortion through an honest, interactive Bible study with other women who share your secret. Contact Marcia Schnexider for more information.
