Building a Legacy is part of our faith journey in Reaching People and Building Lives.  

This fall we began our Building a Legacy campaign in order to create a new worship space at our current facility.  We obtained our existing facility only five years ago this November.  And this old movie theater turned church is truly a God-sized miracle.  This building contains two huge theater rooms that are unfinished and just waiting to be transformed into our new sanctuary.  We will have 800+ seats with state of the art lighting and sound, not to mention video capabilities, new classrooms and more space to dream the dreams of God.  

We dare you to step out in faith and partner with the vision that God has given Church of the King.  Everyone has the desire to experience the miraculous, but that only comes when we first walk in the impossible.  When you embrace what is seemingly impossible, God will show up in the miraculous in your life.  The legacy that we are building is not about the walls or the chairs or the lights or the sound, but the lives that will be changed and the miracles that will happen because you stepped out in faith.

How will completing this project help us reach more people?

More space makes room for more people.  With our weekend services filling up, our over-crowded sanctuary inhibits growth. We are at maximum capacity.  In order to accommodate our growing church family, it is vital that we create a larger space.

Where will the new sanctuary be located?

The new sanctuary will be located in our current facility just to the north of our foyer.  We are converting the two vacant theater rooms on that side of the building into one sanctuary that will seat over 800 people.

How long will this project take and how much will it cost?

The overall cost of the project is estimated to be $800,000.  Our goal is to raise enough money to keep working continually so that we can move into our new building by January 2013.  

How and when do I give to the Building a Legacy campaign?

On Sunday, October 30th, each person will have the opportunity to bring their very best cash gift as we step out in faith and watch what God does through our Building a Legacy campaign.  Our goal that Sunday is for $150,000!

You will be continually informed of the needs as they arise and you will be able to give to the Building a Legacy campaign until our new facility is completed.
